Taeyeon looks around the mansion for the last time. She was about to sell the mansion after her beloved stepfather, passed away two months ago.
Taeyeon came back for awhile just to fulfill the wish of her father. Although there isn’t blood related, Mr. Kim care for Taeyeon as much as the brothers. Taeyeon was 2 years old when Mr. Kim brought her from orphanage.
Mrs. Kim at that time really wanted a girl in the family but she get the boys instead. Although with technology that comes, finally Mrs. Kim cannot be saved. From that moment, she always be the blame by her brothers, Kim Taejin and Kim Haejin.
When the lawyer reading the will of their father, Taeyeon left shocked that she only received a mansion and her beloved piano.
“This isn’t unfair. Why would dad giving almost to Taejin oppa and you, got the entire lot of asset in Kim. While I’m getting a mansion and a piano? This isn’t right,” Kim Taeyeon denies the will of her stepfather.
“Hey, you better grateful that Dad left something for you. Or else you got nothing. You ran away for 5 years and now you wanted more than that? Selfish,” Taejin replied.
“Hyung, don’t say that. Mr. Lim, could you check again if the letter were miswrote by our father?” Haejin asked. He asks the lawyer. He actually want to prove that Mr. Kim actually did give them more than Taeyeon.
“I’m sorry to say Mr. Kim. For all I know that this is the will I personally got from him. If there isn’t any argument involving me, I would like to ask if I have permission to go now?”
“Heard that Taeyeon? The lawyer said it,” Haejin fold his arms and smirk.
Taeyeon rubbed her temple. Actually, before her stepfather passed away, he visited her in her place where she opened her first store. Music store. It was under permission of her father himself. He also finally revealed he hired a bodyguard to protect her from far, Taeyeon could go anywhere and over these 5 years, he always called Taeyeon.
something fishy. But I will find out. Seems like Taejin and Haejin Oppa didnt know my secret meeting with dad.
“Thanks Mr.Lim. You may go now,” Haejin said.
“Oppa, did you change the will?” Taeyeon bravely asks.
“How dare you accusing me?!’ Taejin’s hand ready to slap her but Haejin quickly held his brother.
“Remember Taeyeon, you’re adopted by our parents. Don’t think that you will get as much as us,” Haejin supports his brother.
“So live now with this memories. A mansion and your beloved piano,” Taejin and Haejin went out from the office and let Taeyeon alone.
“Miss Taeyeon,”
A soft voice finally wake her up from daydreaming.
“Oh, Ahjussi, I thought you weren’t here. When did you come?”
“There’s something I need to tell you. Don’t sell this mansion to anyone,”
Taeyeon widen her eyes. And then frown with the saying. She looks at the man. “What do you mean I can’t sell this mansion?”

6 months went by. Taeyeon setting up her place. A piano and guitar sitting perfectly to let customers come try one or two. A ring bell sounds when someone come. Taeyeon is already starts to turn around and welcoming the guest.
That’s when Taejin came. “So here it is, my sister open up a music store. Perfect,”
Taeyeon sees her step brother came in with one lady. “Who is this lady?” her thought. ‘Such a nice smile she put on her face. But why did I sense she doesn’t even have interest to my brother?”
“What do you want?” Taeyeon asks. Forgetting what had in her mind. She folded her arm when a lady, showed her right hand to greet.
“Hi, Hwang Tiffany. Your brother’s partner for a project,” she reach out her hands towards Taeyeon.
Hwang? Is she…
“Seems like I’m not welcoming here, Oppa,” Tiffany said.
Taeyeon didn’t realize that her eyes coming up and down at Tiffany.
“I think she’s still bitter about my father’s will,”
“A will?” Tiffany raised her eyebrows.
“Doesn’t matter. We will talk about it later. But first, Taeyeon. I heard your store have some sort of band that we could hire for any kind of occasion?”
Taeyeon look at her brother. “Yes. I am. But what about it?”
“I was thinking to throw a party, and since I remember you opened this kind of music store, I thought why not use..you?”
Taeyeon inhale and exhale. She can not loose it. She has plans. “Are you sure? Beside my music store just opened this month. And with your money, you could find better musician than me,”
“It’s okay. I loose just about not even 1% from my property to yours. You should be grateful that I’m here to help you, you know,”
There were silence before Taeyeon are about to accept the offer or she needs to come with another plan. Tiffany is amuse to see the way how Taeyeon is thinking.
She isn’t that stupid like these 2 guys have been said. Aren’t you Taeyeon?
“Hey, if you say so, you should go to this gallery–..” Tiffany was about to suggest.
“I didn’t say I reject, Miss Hwang,”
Both them look at her as she had say something offensive.
“So you want it? Wow.. look How desperate you are right now,” Taejin statement made Taeyeon hurts inside but she knows she had to endure it for awhile. Tiffany let the small line appear at her face when she senses Taeyeon is hurt. Despite what she had been grew up in her family, she dislike people look down another people.
“Since you need my music band, the cost for it, is about 10,000 dollars for starters. We have band, ballads, and lot of songs by request. Tell me your kind of idea you want. What kind of theme is it. ” Taeyeon took her notepad and write out.
Tiffany who sees her, felt kind of attraction the way how sofiscated but firm is Taeyeon as she writing and focus on the plan.

The day has arrived and Taeyeon is on backstage to give her final touch. The catering are ready to be serve. The MC starts to announce the guests that has enter the party.
Lots of celebrities, corporate businessman came to representing the party. Taeyeon and her band focus on giving the best night for their customers.
“And now the last and the most important guest, Mr. John Hwang and his daughters, Tiffany and Jennifer. Together with them are Kim Haejin and Kim Taejin. The famous Kim,”
The announcement made Taeyeon go up to the stage and sees the Hwangs’ and her brothers. She can sees Tiffany looks differently with those red dress and somehow, Tiffany senses the eyes watching, and she sees Taeyeon too.
But Taeyeon objective for now is John Hwang. She believes that John Hwang is the cause of her father almost lose all their property. Taeyeon then back to her task for one last touch.
The party starts with upbeat songs and people start dancing. Some were enjoying meal.
“Kim Taeyeon. I don’t know you would come here,” Haejin’s voice catch to Taeyeon’s ears.
“I used her service, my brother. She should be here. To make sure everything go on plan. right, Taeyeon?”
“Oh so, this is your decoration for my engagement party? Taejin’s idea huh? Not bad..not bad,” as he looks around to appreciate taeyeon’s theme.
“Engagement?” Taeyeon raise her eyebrows.
“Yes. I engaged to her, Jennifer,” Haejin said. He pointed to the lady who wore color that in cream dresses, laugh with some of people that Taeyeon thought, are fake friends.
“Although I want Tiffany. She’s really beautiful though. But she is too sneaky and I don’t like it. She is like you at some point. so curious and always asks about something, and that is turn off for me. Maybe you would suit her Taeyeon,” Haejin joked.
“I have my wife already. If this country allowed polygamy, I would catch her right on!” taejin added.
Taeyeon look at her brothers. “Could you guys have some dignity in your life? How much have you spent on dad’s property right now?”
Taejin and Haejin irked with those questions. Taejin come closer right to Taeyeons’ right ear. “Remember this Taeyeon. Mind your own business. And what we’re having right now has nothing to do with you. You’re adopted. Do like one,”
“Come Taejin hyung, it just waste of time talking with someone who doesn’t appreciate that these party, giving her the money.” Haejin walk away with Taejin. Taeyeon sees her brother making conversation with those people.
The rest of the party, Taeyeon felt isolated. Although she come here only as the part of work, her band and all of those decoration, Taejin and Haejin never introduce her to others.
“Seems like the party boring you,”
The voice startled her as she was drinking.
“Why are you here? You should be with those guys. I think they want you there,” Taeyeon point at the group which circling Tiffany 15 minutes ago. All of the sudden, Tiffany is beside her.
“They just never sees me pretty, now I’m pretty, they want something else,”
“Aren’t you?’
“You think I am?”
You are. They are crazy enough if they don’t make a move on you. Hey..Stop! it’s not the time Taeyeon.
“Tiffany, can you do me a favor?”
“Sure.. what will I get if I help you?”
“What ever you want. But not today,” Taeyeon try to make a deal.
“Seems like you don’t know who you are dealing with. I remember what you did say here,” Tiffany bring her right hand so Taeyeon can shake as part of the deal. Taeyeon shook immediately.
“No hesitated. I like you,”
Dont’t know why Taeyeon felt blush with Tiffany bold confession.
“Okay. So what is it, Taeyeon?”
“Could you bring Haejin oppa and tell that I want to meet him,”
“Is that all?”
Taeyeon nod once. Tiffany can sees Taeyeon’s eyes firm to what she just said.
Tiffany followed what Taeyeon asked.
Tiffany did and Haejin meet Taeyeon at the back of room.
“Oppa, if you have chance to cancel this engagement, cancel it right away. I sense something that we should not involve anything with those Hwangs,”
Taeyeon told everything she knows beforehand and what Hwangs plans towards him, but Haejin didn’t believe her.
“Taejin hyung is right. You still bitter bout those will. Tae. I’ll be fine. You don’t have to be a superhero who didn’t wear a cape anyway. Beside, father had passed away for 6 months already and you weren’t really Kim,”
Taeyeon again hurt by the statement Haejin did. Haejin fixed his hair and his suit. He entered the party like it never met Taeyeon before. Taeyeon finally let her tears down.
Tiffany overheard it. She knew that her father planning to get all those asset from Kim but she didn’t know it would hurt anyone in process. And she definitely did not think that Taeyeon would be actually care. Even she is not related to Kim Family 100%.
A week before the marriage, Tiffany visited Taeyeon’s music store. Tiffany told something about once Haejin married the asset will go to her father. If she does want to help, this is the time.
Tayeon chuckled. “He doesnt believe me and now A Hwang’s daughter come to tell the truth. Why won’t you go tell him what you told me,”
Tiffany was shocked to see the respond. If she recalled that night, Taeyeon’s state that night almost like losing her own family.
“You aren’t sad about losing? You actually wanted him to sell his property to my dad.?Aren’t you just out of mind for what my dad capable of to do with your brother?”
“As far as I know, they said I’m not part of Kim anymore. Tell me Ppani, did my brother change already his name to Hwang Haejin? Sound like a girl. Really suit his face,”
Tiffany scoff. “I shouldn’t come here if these are the responses. Thanks.”
“Yeah you shouldnt, Ppani. But thanks for the heads up though. Now, you see that door in front? Please. Excuse yourself,” Taeyeon said as she busy herself with the account book she held awhile ago.
Tiffany stomps her feet when Taeyeon is embarrassing her.
Thanks Tiffany. Really help me though. But I have another plan.

It was all over the news that Haejin is accuse with fraud charge. And somehow Taejin is missing in action. That’s when Taeyeon also felt the wind of those gossip. But she got lucky when nothing leads to her. She then compromise with a police woman to find the proof that John Hwang is behind of the fraud.
Although she hurts with what Haejin said, but she came to the jail and meet him. Haejin told Taeyeon he was sorry and he got betrayed by his own wife. The Hwang made a ridiculous deal, rules to the extend he got trick and now he’s the one who become the black sheep. None prove what-so-ever.
Taeyeon listened. But she cant tell everything yet. She acts cold towards her stepbrother. She still needs to find a way to revenge the greedy man and put him to the place he should belong.

Kim Taeyeon came to Hwang company where she managed to enter as a worker. John recognized her as part of Kim. The best serve made by Taeyeon think that John know about her real asset. but she played along like she did not know anything.
4 months passed and Taeyeon meet Tiffany back. Because those 4 months, Tiffany back to USA for another project her dad signed up for. She was impressed by the work of Taeyeon did and John finds a chance since he found out Taeyeon has interest on Tiffany.

Taeyeon was resting in the balcony when Tiffany joined her.
Taeyeon try to take Tiffany in talking with her by taking a story about herself. Little that Taeyeon know, Tiffany has like her during their first encounter, just as much as Taeyeon.
“I’m his favorite daughter. What ever I want, my dad surely get it for me. But sometimes, I need a freedom. He’s the best but his style of works worrying me,”
Taeyeon try to take a chance to kiss her. but somehow failed when John caught her daughter almost had it.
“Stop it right there Miss, I believe if you like my daughter that much, hands out the marriage,”
“Dad, what are you talking about?” Tiffany surprised by the quest that come out of nowhere.
“She likes you so she must marry you. Or you prefer me to set up with mr. Lee’s son? He have a very pretty asset and love for you,”
“Ugh dad. Could you please stop with property, all those assets? What about happiness and other things than property,”
“I will marry your daughter Mr. Hwang,”
“Taeyeon,” Tiffany still couldn’t believe what Taeyeon had said.
“I kept your deal Taeyeon,”

The day had arrived, it almost like non believe day for both of them, despite that all the news covering their marriage. A week passed by and the news already forgotten by people who did not care. but some company really did regret to not having corpotation with Hwang.

“This house got rules and you have to follow my rules,” he said.
“I think its good to have rules. so you would know what’s next in line. but sir, if you have rules, I only have one rule for you,” Taeyeon smile.
“What is it?”
“Never get angry what I’m about to do from here and then,” she said.
“Deal. but If you fail to follow my rules, you have to sell all your property, asset to me,” John Hwang added.
“Glad you point it out. I shall do the same thing to you then. If you fail to control your anger towards me. All of your property, will be mine. Agree? Sir?”
What could she do. Just being a smartass. you played with the wrong guy, Kim Taeyeon.
“If these are agreement then it should have a contract, dont you think Taeyeon,” he said.
“Dont worry, I have it recorded and paper to sign. As we have to trust each other. This is my copy, and thats yours,”

Towards one week after they made a deal, Taeyeon played along and never once she disobeyed. but after she followed the rules, somehow, back in the office, Taeyeon already done something else. “Don’t you get mad father-in-law. Or property of yours would be mine,”
Hwang could only smile when Taeyeon said that.

“Kim Taeyeon played you well John. We even owed her. How can we get her in the trap?”
“Dont worry. I have one ultimate plan. We could easily trap Taeyeon,”

“Remember Miyoung, you have to follow what I say. Don’t let you guts down or you will pay for it,”
“Whatever dad, she’s smarter than you. She would beat you again,”
Taeyeon enters with a woman that night. John was completely surprise. So does her wife.
“Hey, dad in law, you wouldnt mind if I bring her right?”
Tiffany was shocked to let know that if this was part of Taeyeon’s plan.
“How dare you bring stranger here? You think my house a hotel?”
“Seems like you angry, are you, dad?”
John Hwang remember the contract and smile. He clinched his hand. “Oh yeah. I shouldn’t disturb you then. Please, someone serve them people,”

The next day, Taeyeon did not come home at all. This made John plan isnt working. Tiffany was worried.
After that night, tiffany visits her at musicc store
“Who was the woman that you bring yesterday Taeyeon?”
“No one. why would you care?”
“I’m your wife. Of course I care,”
“You should know that you are my partner only in paper. You’re not actually one to me,”
“How could you say that? You think I marry you if I don’t know what you’re planning?”
“Even if I did, why you agree in the first place, Miss Tiffany Hwang?”
Taeyeon knew deep inside she hurting Tiffany’s feeling by saying those word. If she predict well, if Tiffany doesn’t like her the way she did, she would storm off as the spoiled child she is.
But what Taeyeon has expect, didn’t come like she said she would. Tiffany’s eyes were flowing. Taeyeon didn’t expect the tears.
“I don’t even know that Kim Taeyeon I love is way to jerk than my own father. Thank you for showing your concern to me back then,”
Tiffany wiped her tears away and bowed before let herself out from the music store.
what did she say? she loves me? the way I did?
“Shit. You’re too nice you know that Kim Taeyeon?” Taeyeon cursed herself. “Fany-ah! Wait!”
Tiffany didn’t care the shout Taeyeon did. “Miyoung! I said wait up,” Taeyeon speed her walk and pull her elbow. “What did you say back then? Do you mean that?”
Tiffany nod once. Taeyeon gave up a little smirk and chuckle.
“seems like you dont know who you’re in love with?”
“why did I sense you just use my sentences and you plagiarised it?”
“seem like i had fell in love with the right woman,”

“It’s been a year and I have seen nothing result. I loose my patience here Haejin,”
“I’m sure there’s some weakness you need to find that and she will be in doom,”

“I miss you my boo. when will you be back?”
“it’s only two days Fany-ah,”
“i promise that if you come back here as soon as possible, I will sleep with you in the garage,”
“sounds interesting. i’ll think about that, thank you for your offer. ,”
“taeyeon, i swear if you pull those again I cancelled sleeping with and never give you those again. we’re gonna stop it immediately,”
“Fany-ah, I love you, ”
Tiffany chuckled “I know you love me. or else you leave me after you have already made my dad suffered.”
“see you soon. but remember. to you your dad, we aren’t that close,”
“got it tae. bye boo,”
“who were you talking too? asked her sister.
“none of your business”
Tiffany laying on her bed after.
“did you fall in love with that lady?”
“i said none of yours.”
“hey i’m not the one in love with her. you know that Dad would be thrilled if he knew that you have Taeyeon in your hands,”
“what do you mean?”
“thi is your chance to seek revenge for Dad”
“seek revenge? of what?”
